Our herd of 400 Jersey cows are pasture access, non-gmo, and no hormones. What does this mean? This means your cheese is being made with the highest quality milk, made in the USA, and produced in ways that are respectful of animals & land.
The Petaluma Creamery was established over 100 year ago in Petaluma, California. The creamery is a staple of the agriculture history that built this community, and the support of our cheeses & dairy products helps make sure that this legendary building and history stay alive.
Larry Peter, a Sonoma County native, set out to fulfill his father’s dream of owning a dairy farm. He purchased his first cows in 1987. This lead to production of his own cheese and the eventual purchase & that saved the Petaluma Creamery in 2004. He is passionate about sharing agriculture with future generations & preserving our countries’ dairy history.
