When you are a baby goat you exist in one of three states: hungry, bouncy, or sleepy. This is sleepy. Little baby Baikal (born late this morning to Lake) is still figuring out how her legs work as she attempts to follow the lead of pen-mates Ithaca, Satellite, Zydeco, and Godiva (also born today, to Eclair) for nap time.

The first lambs were born this afternoon! Trinidad gave birth to a boy and a girl. When I left the barn to post this, both Rogue and Drusilla were in labor too. Lots of new babies in the barn this evening!
