We received this as a gift, and have now given it to three others. It is a great selection of interesting, artisanal (in the true sense of the word) cheeses. I know a lot about cheese — my sister-in-law, who gave this to me, was shocked I’d only had two of these before. The cheeses are a great assortment (the truffle cheese is stunning, the fromage frais is SO fresh and you can almost taste the grass the cows ate. The fontina derivative may be a little less pungent than a real Val d’Aosta but has its own charm and flavor). What a great way to taste small-producer cheeses from folks who care deeply about making great cheese! I will definitely be ordering from them over and over again.

This collection of California cheese is outstanding! Thoughtfully curated and delicious mix of soft, cream, and harder style cheeses, from throughout California, accompanied by THE BEST swag — A Kooky Cow Towel! Received this holiday cheese collection as a gift and will be sharing it with family and friends during the holidays. Thanks to the California Cheese Trail for promoting local cheese producers, during the holidays and always!

If you live in California and want to be less cliché than wine for the holiday, how about something else from California? That’s how I settled on cheese – and Cheese Trail does an amazing job ‘representing’ in a gift. I sent along this beautiful gift to my boss who is in Connecticut and she loved it. I had multiple pictures of the cool cheese combo and the swag. I’m really proud of the artisan products from our fine state – and look for opportunities to share when I can. In addition, the communication between Cheesetrail.org and me was easy and calmed my anxiety about shipping late in the holiday season and communicated right up through the delivery. I’m not sure they do that for everyone but since I was a nervous nelly, they did it for me. Thank you Michael.

Sent to my family back east as a Christmas present. It did not even make it to the weekend. “Send more” all they said. Luckily with the great selection and killer service it was easy to comply. That’s why I’m the favorite uncle.

Creamy and delicious . Beautifully presented. Great gift, but I decided to keep it for myself. So good!

I recently sent (Jan. 3rd) your “California Collection” to each of my sons/families, one in Denver, CO, the other in Oak Park, IL. All family members LOVED their cheese collection! Kudos to you for a fine collection!
