Garden Variety Cheese Farm Tour

Come out and meet their flock of 100 dairy sheep and see where and how they make our award winning cheeses and yogurt. You will tour their milking parlor, cheesemaking facility and aging cave, and visit with our sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. The tour concludes with a cheesetasting.

    Point Reyes Farm Tour

    Join us at 1:30pm for a walking farm tour and a casual cheese tasting. Enhanced Tasting Experiences available on a limited basis - Reservations required.
    DESCRIPTION:
    On the walking farm tour you'll learn the history of our farm and agriculture in the region, the life cycle (from birth) of our closed-herd of Holsteins, what Farmstead means and why it's important to us (and you!) and of course, how artisan cheese is made. Back on The Fork patio, you'll enjoy a sampling of our cheeses and have the option to visit our retail cart before you depart. Don't forget to arrive a little early to enjoy The Fork’s house-made ice cream sandwiches as you stroll through our edible garden and take photos with our baby calves. Young children (0-2 years) in pack carriers/strollers are free and do not require a ticket. ENHANCE YOUR VISIT! Enhanced Tasting Experiences available. We've re-vamped our garden patio and offer private, seated tastings (led by your very own Cheese Concierge!) following the walking farm tour.               Hands on Cheesemaking Feta three ways, cow, goat and sheep milk

              Hands on Cheesemaking Feta three ways, cow, goat and sheep milk. In class we will make three styles of Feta, cow, goat and sheep. In addition, we will flavor with oregano and black pepper feta. Each guest will take home a cheese cloth, cheese ladle, cheese recipe card and cheese trail map. Complimentary wine tasting.

              Hands on Cheesemaking Class of Mozzarella & Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes. Each guest will learn how to pull Mozzarella and Fill Burrata with Creme de Fromage, our chef made cheese. Each guest will take home a container of Mozzarella Curds & Burrata to enjoy at home.
