Group Creamery Tours of Stepladder Ranch & Creamery are 1 hour long and give you a look inside the milking parlor, a visit with the goats and insight into how cheeses are made. Join us at 1:30pm for a walking farm tour and a casual cheese tasting. Upon arrival, enjoy The Fork's house-made ice cream sandwiches as you stroll through our edible garden and take photos with our baby calves. On the walking farm tour you'll learn the history of our farm and agriculture in the region. We'll describe the life cycle (from birth) of our closed-herd of Holsteins, the care we put into the comfort of our animals, what Farmstead means and why it's important to us (and you!) and of course, how artisan cheese is made. Back on The Fork patio, you'll enjoy a sampling of our cheeses and have the option to visit our retail cart before you depart. Young children (0-2 years) in pack carriers/strollers are free and do not require a ticket.
