Crottin is a traditional Loire Valley goat’s milk cheese.This crottin has gone through various changes from the version which is very similar to the traditional cheese with natural rind. This cheese should not be aged to be soft but to stay hard. When the cheese is fully aged, the cut surface looks like marble.  This crottin has a fluffy white rind of Penicillium Candidum.

Ingredients: Goat’s milk, starter culture, vegetarian rennet, salt.
