The Boat Oyster Bar is our full-service, outdoor cafe at Hog Island Oyster Farm. We serve a light, seasonal menu of raw and BBQ’d oysters, salads, cheese + charcuterie boards and fresh seafood specials.

All seating at The Boat Oyster Bar is outdoors beside the bay where our oysters are grown. Tables are available by reservation only Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Monday. Tables are available Thursdays on a walk-in basis. Reservations can be made online through RESY up to 30 days in advance. We are limited to one party of 2-10 people per table. Please do not book more than one table under alternate names or accounts to create a larger party or bring more than 10 people. Children of all ages (including babies) must be included in the headcount. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome at the oyster bar.

This is a full service cafe, please, no outside food or beverages. We do allow wine corkage for a fee of $20 per bottle for the first two bottles. Limited dessert items (i.e. birthday cake, cupcakes) and food or snacks for children 5 and under can also be brought into the oyster bar. We are open rain or shine so please plan accordingly as our seating is not covered. We recommend wearing layers and bringing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. Our marine weather changes quickly.

We hold your reservation for 30 minutes. If you are later than 30 min. your table will be given away and you will be charged a $10 per person no-show fee. Please cancel through your RESY account by 9 PM, the night before your reservation, to avoid a $10 per person no-show fee.
