-- Cheesemaking operations have been purchased by neighboring Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery, who'll take over production of Andrew's fresh mozzarella, stracciatella and ricotta cheeses.

-- Meanwhile, Double 8's buffalo milk soft serve has been purchased by a separate company, who'll continue distribution to existing accounts. The last we heard, you could find the buffalo milk gelato at the following retailers: Dillon Beach market, Marshall Store Coast Cafe (Bolinas), Breakers (Stinson), Blue Barn (Novato), Sunflower Cafe (Sonoma), and Loveski Deli (Napa).
