​Active Wine Adventures was launched by Sorel Klein in 2016. A Northern California native with Napa Valley roots going back 5 generations, Sorel moved to Napa over 20 years ago.

Prior to starting his tour business, his experience included wine industry sales; outreach/marketing for a public transportation agency; and leading museum tours. He's also been a news/feature reporter and taught English in Japan and the U.S.

While studying French language and literature in France, Sorel developed a taste for fine wine and cuisine that has deepened during his years in the Napa Valley. His favorite wines are typically Napa Cabernet Sauvignon or red blends, but he appreciates a wide variety of wines and has visited 250+ wineries in Napa | Sonoma.
