It’s a show in a barn at Straus Home Ranch, a farm on Tomales Bay. “After I Die, You’ll Have to Feed Everyone”
Weekend matinee performances invite you to picnic on the farm before. Friday night performances offer a food truck option.
Written & performed by Vivien Straus, this latest one-woman theatrical show is a daughter’s comical love letter to her immigrant mother, Ellen Straus, a European city kid who flees the Nazis, finds love on a California dairy farm and emerges as one of West Marin’s iconic environmental pioneers. Ellen Straus was the founder of the first agricultural land trust in the country, Marin Agricultural Land Trust.
Vivien plays 11 characters (10 humans + 1 cow). 12 performances only, here at Straus Home Ranch. It’ll be a blast!
