Oh wow! Marin French Cheese Company was just named by Sunset Magazine as the Best Cheese Shop in the West!
Marin French is nestled in the rolling hills of Marin County, and was founded in 1865 by Jefferson Thompson. Producing cheeses under the Marin French Cheese brand name, it is the oldest continually operating cheese manufacturer in the United States.
The beautiful, bucolic grounds are also the perfect spot to find all the cheese, accoutrements and beverages for a beautiful picnic. If you haven't been there, you're missing out on a delightful sweetness.
