Cheesemaking: Gouda

You've been asking for the opportunity to make an real wheel of ageable cheese and we've listened. This class will teach you how to transform fresh milk into a personal wheel of ageable, lovable Gouda. Learn about milk chemistry, culture options and ways to salt and press. Learn three different ways to age your wheel at home. Decide if you'd like to flavor your cheese with fenugreek or cumin seeds. Each class participants takes home a 1 pound wheel of cheese for aging.
