Abe Abuhilal grew up in a Palestinian town known for its cheeses. He earned his Bachelor in agriculture from University of Jordan and Ph.D. from University of Sassari, Italy and University of California, Davis.
He worked in Palestine as a farmer and the Head of the Ag Dept. at Alquds University.
He now owns a 41-acre organic farm where he grows alfalfa, herbs, has dairy sheep and makes cheese.
